  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated (Pecorino Romano can be used)
  • 1 Egg, beaten (For egg wash to achieve golden color)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder (Fresh minced garlic can be used)
  • Salt & Pepper (To taste)
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil (Optional for sautéing spinach)

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat the oven – Set oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Step 2: Prepare the spinach filling – Heat olive oil in a skillet, sauté spinach until wilted. Cool slightly. Mix spinach with ricotta, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Step 3: Prepare the puff pastry – Unfold thawed puff pastry, cut each sheet into 4–6 squares.
  4. Step 4: Fill the pastry – Place 1–2 tbsp of spinach-ricotta mixture in each square. Fold into triangles or rectangles, seal edges with a fork.
  5. Step 5: Apply egg wash – Brush tops with beaten egg for golden finish.
