  • 450 g macaroni pasta
  • 240 ml flaked crab meat
  • 240 ml cooked large shrimp, cut into pieces
  • 240 ml finely chopped celery
  • 34 green onions, finely chopped
  • 8 hard-boiled eggs, diced

Dressing

  • 240 ml mayonnaise
  • 240 ml sour cream
  • 15 ml sweet relish
  • 10 ml sugar
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add macaroni pasta and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Drain, rinse under cold water, and set aside to cool.
  2. Prepare the Eggs Place eggs in a saucepan, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes, then transfer to cold water. Peel and dice the eggs once cooled.
  3. Combine Salad Ingredients In a large mixing bowl, combine cooled macaroni, flaked crab meat, cooked shrimp pieces, chopped celery, green onions, diced eggs, salt, and pepper.
  4. Prepare and Add Dressing In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, sweet relish, and sugar. Pour dressing over the pasta mixture and mix gently until all components are evenly coated.
  5. Chill and Serve Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow flavours to meld. Serve chilled.
