  • 3 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 medium red onion, finely diced
  • 1 rib celery, finely diced
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, finely diced
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni. Cook the elbow macaroni in salted water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cool water.
  2. Prepare dressing. In a separate bowl, mix together mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, black pepper, sugar, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Combine ingredients. Combine the cooled pasta with half of the dressing in a large bowl. Add the diced vegetables and toss gently to coat.
  4. Refrigerate and serve. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Just before serving, add the remaining dressing and adjust seasoning if needed.
