Ingredients

Scale

For the Lemonade

  • 1 recipe Homemade Lemonade

For the Pineapple Lemonade

  • 2 cups fresh pineapple
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Lemonade: Prepare homemade lemonade according to your preferred recipe or directions, then set it aside.
  2. Reserve Pineapple for Garnish: Set aside a few tablespoons of fresh pineapple to use later as garnish in the pitcher or individual glasses.
  3. Blend Pineapple with Lemonade: Add 2 cups of fresh pineapple and 3 cups of the prepared lemonade into a blender. Blend until smooth. Strain the blended mixture through a fine sieve into a pitcher to remove pulp, or pour directly in for a thicker texture.
  4. Combine and Add Lime Juice: Add the remaining 5 cups of lemonade and 1 tablespoon lime juice to the pitcher and stir well to combine all flavors.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Add the reserved fresh pineapple pieces and optional mint leaves to the pitcher or individual glasses for garnish. Serve chilled and enjoy the tropical twist on classic lemonade.

Notes

  • You can adjust the sweetness of the homemade lemonade to your taste before mixing it with the pineapple.
  • Using fresh pineapple gives the best flavor, but frozen pineapple can be used if fresh isn’t available.
  • If you prefer a thicker lemonade, skip straining the blended mixture.
  • Add ice cubes to the pitcher or glasses for an extra cold drink.
  • Mint is optional but adds a nice aromatic touch and enhances the freshness.
