Ingredients

Scale

Donuts

  • 6 yeast donuts (homemade or store-bought)

Glaze

  • 4 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 23 tbsp heavy cream or milk

Topping

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp melted butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the donuts: If using homemade donuts, allow them to cool completely. If store-bought, warm them slightly for a fresh taste.
  2. Beat the cream cheese: In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Mix glaze ingredients: Gradually mix in powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
  4. Adjust glaze consistency: Add heavy cream or milk one tablespoon at a time until the glaze is thick but pourable.
  5. Prepare strawberries: Wash and thinly slice the strawberries. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
  6. Apply glaze: Dip or spoon glaze generously over the top of each donut.
  7. Add strawberries: Arrange strawberry slices over the glaze, pressing gently to help them stick.
  8. Add sugar topping: Sprinkle with granulated sugar for sparkle and crunch.
  9. Set glaze: Chill for 10–15 minutes to set the glaze or serve immediately for a gooey treat.

Notes

  • Chill the donuts after glazing for 10–15 minutes to allow the glaze to set; alternatively, serve immediately for a gooey texture.
  • Melted butter is optional and can be added for extra richness.
