Ingredients
- 1½ cup milk chocolate (melted)
- 2 tbsps tahini
- 1½ cup pistachio cream
- 2 cups shredded Kataifi dough (chopped)
- ¼ stick butter (unsalted)
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- ¼ cup white chocolate
- Food coloring
- Chop the Kataifi dough: Chop the Kataifi dough into smaller pieces.
- Toast Kataifi dough: In a pan over medium heat, melt butter and toast the Kataifi dough until golden brown. Add tahini and pistachio cream.
- Combine ingredients: Mix until well combined and turn off the heat.
- Melt white chocolate: Melt white chocolate with coconut oil and separate into bowls. Add food coloring as desired.
- Prepare molds: Pour melted milk chocolate into molds, covering bottom and sides.
- Add filling: Add pistachio knafeh filling, smoothing it down.
- Top with chocolate: Top with more melted chocolate to cover the filling completely. Let set in fridge for 15 minutes.
- Serve: Remove from mold and slice into bars or break into pieces.
Notes
- Letting the bars set in the fridge for 15 minutes helps the chocolate firm up properly.
