Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1½ cup milk chocolate (melted)
  • 2 tbsps tahini
  • 1½ cup pistachio cream
  • 2 cups shredded Kataifi dough (chopped)
  • ¼ stick butter (unsalted)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • ¼ cup white chocolate
  • Food coloring

Instructions

  1. Chop the Kataifi dough: Chop the Kataifi dough into smaller pieces.
  2. Toast Kataifi dough: In a pan over medium heat, melt butter and toast the Kataifi dough until golden brown. Add tahini and pistachio cream.
  3. Combine ingredients: Mix until well combined and turn off the heat.
  4. Melt white chocolate: Melt white chocolate with coconut oil and separate into bowls. Add food coloring as desired.
  5. Prepare molds: Pour melted milk chocolate into molds, covering bottom and sides.
  6. Add filling: Add pistachio knafeh filling, smoothing it down.
  7. Top with chocolate: Top with more melted chocolate to cover the filling completely. Let set in fridge for 15 minutes.
  8. Serve: Remove from mold and slice into bars or break into pieces.

Notes

  • Letting the bars set in the fridge for 15 minutes helps the chocolate firm up properly.
