Tahini Chocolate Balls are bite-sized, nutrient-dense treats combining rich chocolate flavor with creamy tahini, perfect for a quick snack or post-workout boost.

  • 120ml tahini* I use this brand
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 55g oat flour
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • pinch of salt
  • sesame seeds for coating

Instructions

  1. Optional step – Toast the sesame seeds: Toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan over a medium heat for a couple of minutes stirring continuously. This will help bring out the natural nuttiness of the seeds. Leave to cool.
  2. Mix tahini and syrup: Add the tahini and maple syrup to a bowl and mix to combine.
  3. Add dry ingredients and form dough: Add the oat flour, cocoa and a pinch of salt. Mix until you have a dough consistency. Shape into 10-12 balls.
  4. Coat and serve: Coat in the sesame seeds and enjoy!

Notes

  • Toasting the sesame seeds is optional but recommended to enhance their nuttiness.
